After we had tagged all the components, we began our inaugural monitor run.   What we encountered amazed us! Tags seemed to be everywhere but on their components.  How could we operate an effective fugitive emissions program when it was a full time job just keeping the tags on the components?  We knew there had to be a better way.

We then developed a tagless program, using drawings to identify points of emission instead of tags.  Not just any drawings, though.  These drawings were developed so that they would be easy to use in the field, easily read by technicians, simple to modify, and most importantly, cost effective to the point that they would be considered as a viable option.

We set up the program, got a few monitoring runs under our  belts, and evaluated the program.  We found the program to be well organized and cost effective, and we were able channel all of our time, money, and energies into reducing emissions.

We then started talking to other companies who had similar problems, and Proactive Environmental Services was born.

At Proactive Environmental Services, we don't try to be all things to all people.  We feel that we do LDAR better than any other company, and that's what we're going to stick with.  We won't take on any projects unless we know that we can provide that client with the highest level of service possible.  So, if your looking for stack testing, water surveys, or asbestos remediation, we can't help.  But, if you're looking for an effective LDAR program that will reduce long term costs and give you the highest level of organization, you've come to the right place.
